Are There Natural Remedies To Help With Anxiety?

I took some time to go back through a couple of surveys I sent out to my readers where I asked what their biggest questions were about health, stress, and anxiety.

This is one question that popped up a lot!

Are There Natural Remedies To Help With Anxiety?

I know there’s a LOT of moms out there who want to avoid using harmful pharmaceuticals and they’re wondering if there’s anything else they can do to ease these feelings and YES there are SO many things you can do!

Again, different things work for different people and you’ll most likely find that a combination of things helps you most.

I recommend to the women I work with inside the Zen Sisterhood that moms should focus on getting healthy whole foods into their bodies, some type of fermented food or probiotic supplement, taking a few supplements including a high-quality multivitamin, and some type of adaptogenic herbs like Hemp Oil, Ashwaganda or Holy Basil, do some sort of exercise for 25 minutes 3-5 times a week and work on what’s going on between your ears.

I used to roll my eyes when my friend and energy healing practitioner would say “Hannah, what are you thinking about? What were you thinking about prior to when you felt anxious?”

I didn’t think that what I thought about had any correlation with how I felt, but it DOES!

That’s a conversation for a whole other day…

When you’re in the thick of feeling overwhelmed and yucky and anxious you just want something tangible that you can wrap your mind around!

Focus on what you can put IN your body, NOT what you have to remove.

Put good foods IN your body, put healthy supplements IN your body, start there.  Those types of things are easier.

Then when you get that under control THEN you can start adding movement and mindwork.  All of these things combined will then help you with your sleep, which for a tired mom, makes everything better, doesn’t it??

I hope these suggestions help.
