Have you ever viewed your nagging anxious feelings as a wake up call?
That pit in your stomach. The tightness in your chest. The racings thoughts about the future…
Your symptoms are there to teach you a lesson. Your emotions are telling you something. Anxiety doesn’t mean you’re broken, there’s something out of line. It’s so hard to go through but you will come out a stronger person and it will be so worth it.
Anxiety has helped me change my life and realize what it is that I want and what my purpose is.
Illness is an opportunity.
It’s here to bring you to your greatest version of yourself.
It is a catalyst for change.
What is the change that needs to take place for you?
When I was first hit with debilitating anxiety 8 years ago I never once thought, oh bummer, this is just the way I am and I will stay this way for the rest of my life.
Not for one minute!
I knew something was drastically off.
I hadn’t always felt this way.
This caused me to take a big step back and examine what was going on. There are many types of stressors. Finances, schooling, kids, family dynamics, living situations…things you can’t always control.
There are physical stressors. Your sleep habits, nutrition, thought patterns, deficiencies in vitamins and minerals, how much physical activity you get, toxic exposure and more.
When you experience anxiety you need to examine ALL types of stressors.
You need to examine and make a list of things you CAN control and you CAN improve. There’s always going to be something you can do better.
Don’t let your anxiety cripple you.
Use it as a wonderful opportunity to reflect on what you can change in your life.
