Green Chef, The Ultimate Keto Meal Delivery Service!
I’ve always dreamed of having someone cook for me.
Wouldn’t that be amazing?
Especially when you’re trying hard to eat healthy, cooking can be a big production. The recipe picking, list making, grocery shopping, cooking and clean up…not to mention, I cook for 6 people so…enough said!
I got to experience the next best thing to having someone cook for me.
I had the opportunity to try out 3 delicious keto friendly meals from a company called Green Chef.
Have you heard of those meal delivery services where they send you the ingredients all perfectly measured out with recipe cards and everything?
This is exactly what Green Chef is!
I got this giant box of ALL ORGANIC foods delivered straight to my door step. No having to drive to the store, braving crowds, kids begging for junk food, nope, it was glorious!
I opened it up and it was neatly packaged and everything was measured out into bags and containers.
The recipe cards were color coded with the ingredients and beautiful photos of step by step directions.
My husband was on a trip when it arrived so I had to wait a few days for him to come home and try out the new recipes with me. I wanted to get his input!
The 3 meals we tried were as follows:
- Merguez Chicken (450 calories: 15g fat / 19g carbs / 55g protein)
- Mustard-Roasted Pork (400 calories: 19g fat / 14g carbs / 39g protein)
- Dill-Caper Sole Roulades (470 calories: 32 g fat / 15g carbs / 30g protein)
Each meal was more than enough for my husband and I!
The ingredients were fresh and the flavor combinations were delicious. It was fun to try new recipes and it really got my creative juices flowing.
The recipes were really quick to make, all 30 minutes or less, and the directions were very simple to follow. Even if you’re not very experienced in the kitchen, you could still cook these meals very easily.
My favorite meal was probably the mustard roasted pork. My least was probably the Merguez chicken but it’s just because I’m not a huge Cilantro fan, but I still devoured every bite and it was still yummy!
The company has different options for how often you can have meals sent. If you’re a busy working mom I would DEFINITELY recommend to have at least 1 or 2 meals delivered a week to lighten your load!
All in all I’d give them an A+ for quality, flavor and simplicity!
