I’m willing to wager that just about everyone reading this article at some point has been low on energy.

Am I right?

Over the last 6 years I have experienced times of extreme energy depletion.  It’s no fun.  Especially when you have 3 young children to raise.  Every woman deserves to have health and vitality, peace and energy.

There are basic tenets of any wellness program that include at least 7 hours of sleep at night, eating whole unprocessed foods, cutting out sugar and getting some fresh air and sunshine each day.

EVERYONE should be striving to include all of these things in their lifestyle.  If you don’t take care of your well being it will crumble over time and you’ll be struggling with no energy.

You may think you are resilient to every stress that comes your way, but over time the body becomes less and less effective at dealing with stress.

There are many ways we can take care of our bodies to prevent them from becoming depleted and there are many ways to build them back up.

In the process of healing your body from fatigue and burnout essential oils can be a wonderful tool to help support your body and mind in the process of recovery!

How do I use oils to support my energy levels?

The next thing you’re probably wondering is how to use the oils.  There are a few ways you can incorporate the oils into your daily routine.  Diffusing essential oils is always a nice way to use them.

Any diffuser will work though.  I’ve purchased this diffuser on Amazon and have been very happy with it. It’s a great place to start if your budget is tight;)

Place a few drops of your essential oil of choice into the diffuser and fill to the designated fill line with water.  (Distilled water is preferable, especially if you have hard water like I do!)

Turn it on and let it fill your home or office with an uplifting scent.  I like to stop and take a few deep breaths over my diffuser whenever I walk by it.

You can also place a couple drops of any of these oils on your wrists and rub them together.  Just be careful with lemon, orange and lemongrass essential oil, you don’t want to expose that skin to direct sunlight or it can burn easily.

You can even just open the bottle whenever you need a little pick up and sniff straight from there.  I have oils all over my house and car for this purpose.

Using essential oils through our sense of smell is a wonderful way to wake up our brains and instill feelings of happiness, peace and energy.  Try it out next time you need a boost.
