About Hannah

Hannah

I’m so happy you stopped by!

I’m Hannah, a mother of  5, wife, and lover of anything involving health and wellness.

I’m passionate about teaching mothers how to lead healthier lives.

Eight years ago I hit a major low point in my life when post partum depression and anxiety consumed me on a daily basis.

I struggled with:

  • dizziness
  • insomnia
  • panic attacks
  • low mood
  • post partum depression
  • achy joints
  • tight chest
  • and more!

I struggled for years, tried conventional methods and realized that I wasn’t meant to feel sick, tired and stressed all the time.

I felt so guilty because I knew I wasn’t the mom I wanted to be.

I took my health into my own hands and now feel better than ever.  Through nutrition first, I teach women how to reclaim their lives from anxiety.  I believe that a healthy body creates a healthy mind.

We need to look at our health as a whole, I like to take a functional medicine approach to health where I consider nutrition first and foremost, then healing supplements and herbs, then movement, then the mind work.

All of these pieces work synergistically together to create magical healing powers.

I love studying food and its effect on mood.  Food is where my journey began.  I love learning about healing super foods and now look at food as fuel for my body and information for my brain.

Stick around if you want to learn more about healing anxiety naturally!

Rooting for you on YOUR healing journey!

XO,

Hannah

  1. Good afternoon, Hannah! Thanks for stopping by my site. I saw your last name and I was interested because my mother-in-law’s maiden name was the same. They were from Gridley, CA. Could you be any relation?

I have been asked before if we have relatives in California, not a close relation that I know of, but I bet somewhere along the lines we’re related!

I love your site! Our family has enjoyed many of your recipes!! I was sad to see that the link to view the Lemon Coconut Kefir Smoothie recipe was down. This sounds so good especially since it is nearing summer! Would love to get the recipe!!

    1. Thank you Annelise! I’m so happy to hear that you’re enjoying the recipes:) Yes, I just fixed the issue with recipes and it should be working now!

    Hi Hannah,

I am a mom of one very busy little boy and I work two jobs on the side part time. I have recently started looking into the keto diet and I am wondering how often do you fast? Wondering how I fit that into my schedule!

Hi! I came across your blog while searching for low carb/keto ideas…and of course I LOVE costco. I am very new to this low carb transition, so any feedback or suggestion are appreciated!
